Evie Marie Bishop (b. 1991) is an artist, photographer, cinematographer, and filmmaker. Her work explores themes of solitude, ambiguity, evanescent memory, sleep, mythologies, superstition, and lo-fi cinema. Evie designs and makes one-off lingerie and apparel as an extension of her practice.
Evie is the Photographer, Videographer, and Producer at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. She has produced official archival photography for contemporary artists and artist estates including Ed Ruscha, Nick Cave, Kiki Smith, Mark Rothko, and Ellsworth Kelly. Evie has filmed, directed, and produced documentary films and videos for contemporary artists including Jill Magid, Mark Bradford, and Rebecca Manson. Her work has been published by the New York Times, Artforum, and MoMA, amongst others.
Evie cofounded the art publication MORTADELLA, and was the co-editor and co-curator of Mortadella: binder (2025).
